Program Manager, Teen Engagement and Partnerships, Art Institute of Chicago
Maura is a designer, educator, and arts administrator. In her current role as Program Manager of Teen Engagement and Partnerships at the Art Institute of Chicago, she collaborates with teens and artists to produce youth-led programming, exhibitions, and interpretation materials for teen audiences. Maura is also a former Chicago Public School Teacher who is passionate about equity in education and the arts. In her practice, she aspires to empower youth creatively and professionally, using art as a tool to disrupt systems of power, connect individuals, and illuminate wonder in the everyday.
