“Pra dançar: Music inspired by Swinguerra” is born out of my avid love of beats, and my desire to learn more about the music behind Wágner and de Burca’s Swinguerra,” Fabienne writes. “This musical compilation is not intended to be the final authority on swingueira, brega funk, and passinho do maloca music. My hope, though, is that you, the visitor, are able to be carried away by the call-and-response of textural vibes—and keep dancing long after you have left the museum.”
