THE WONDERTWINS Performing professionally since the age of 10, identical twins Billy and Bobby McClain bring not just technical facility but humor and great stage presence to their performances. JOSÉ MATEO BALLET THEATRE The company opens its 31st season with a program of the veteran choreographer’s works called “Impelling Forces.” “1796” (2015) is set to Beethoven’s Sonata No. 2 in G minor for piano and cello, “Over and Over” (2009) is propelled by the rhythms of Philip Glass’s Symphony No. 2, and “Mozart Provoked” (2014) features a jazzy reinterpretation of Mozart’s Sonata in C major by pianist Uri Caine.
