Brooklyn-based, Colombia-born artist María Berrío has a new exhibition called the "The Children's Crusade," which explores childhood and immigrant stories. We talk with her about her art practice, which often employs collages to create scenes that teeter on the border between reality and imagination.

The new exhibition opens Feb. 16 at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston.
