Ellen Tani, ICA Assistant Curator, will share insights into Nina Chanel Abney’s site-specific work at the ICA and the artist’s intuitive, improvisational creative process. Tani will consider the artist’s “library of forms”—symbols, emoji, and other iconography—and what they reference in the context of art history, the information age, and the politics of social justice.
