This summer, join the ICA as we host bi-monthly digital workshops with a focus on individual and collective well being. During this time, we want to tune into our own well being through art making, movement, mindfulness, and creating space to connect with others. Workshops will alternate between fostering physical health and tuning into our creative making sides.

Needing a moment of peace? Cultural Fabric’s teachings use a combination of best practices that heighten awareness, promote individual and collective well-being, and bridge differences in community. Melissa Alexis, founder of Cultural Fabric, will lead a mindfulness session cultivating imagination and a spirit of inclusivity. This event will consist of slow movement, meditation, and group conversation, focusing on the theme of fostering compassion for the collective as a form of self-care.

Please come prepared with a journal or paper, a writing utensil, and wear comfortable clothes. Towels and blankets recommended for comfort, but not necessary.
