Since opening its doors on the waterfront in 2006, the ICA has invited a series of leading contemporary artists to propose and realize monumental, site-specific works on the museum’s sprawling Sandra and Gerald Fineberg Art Wall. These presentations, which both greet the visitor as they arrive and are also visible to passersby, typically remain on view for a year or more, providing a dynamic, evolving entry point to the museum.
