Doors open at 7 PM. Concert starts at 7:30 PM.
The 23-year old Belgian-based musician Tamino creates music of startling, visceral, sit-up-and listen power. On his debut album, Amir, Tamino weaves together the influences of his western upbringing and his Middle Eastern roots. The expressive range of his voice draws comparisons to Jeff Buckley and Radiohead’s Tom Yorke. For his Boston debut at the ICA, Tamino will perform an intimate solo concert of melancholic, achingly beautiful songs that capture a range of emotions from romance to desolation and almost everything in between. It’s mood music, painted in a number of different shades.
Mappe Of will perform an opening set.
